Not every Kansas City Chiefs football player makes it to the team’s hall of fame—called the Ring of Honor—at Arrowhead Stadium. It’s an amazing achievement for only a chosen few in the franchise’s history, and when you’re recognized, it’s an incredible honor and a great feeling. So I couldn’t be happier for my friend Tony Gonzalez who will be adding that achievement to his already incredible career.
During tonight’s primetime game when the Chiefs host the Los Angeles Chargers, the team will celebrate the former tight end by adding Tony’s name to the Ring of Honor. The most prolific pass catcher in Chiefs history, Tony will get to bang the Arrowhead Stadium drum at kickoff and then take the field with his family during halftime for his official induction. Tune in tonight for the game and follow Tony’s social channels (Twitter and Instagram) for a complete recap.
