A couple of weeks ago, I filled you in on a new partnership that I was really excited about: a collaboration between MSX by Michael Strahan and body-positive fitness chain Blink Fitness. We both believe in making sure our customers have access to the best clothing possible—because when you look good, you feel good and perform better.
On Tuesday, March 19, in N.Y.C., I hosted media influencers, press, and editors from Aol.,People, Ebony, New York Post, and Forbes, among others, to talk about how coming together with a like-minded partner like Blink will mean that my size-inclusive activewear line will reach even more people who are looking for comfortable clothing that take them where they need to go during the day, which is basically everywhere—the gym, school, work, shopping, out with friends (there’s a reason why athleisure accounts for nearly a quarter of all clothing sales in the U.S.). So I couldn’t be happier that my seven-piece activewear capsule collection is now officially available at more than 80 Blink Fitness locations around the country. The MSX by Michael Strahan brand was inspired by my own busy life, and so I really wanted to build pieces that were high quality (these are notyour dad’s old gym shorts) and versatile, like the Blink X MSX by Michael Strahan Henley shirt and pants that can take you straight from the Blink Fitness floor to a lunch with friends or a meeting. The pieces even have UV protection and Quick-Dri Stretch technology so you can get where you need to be fast.
All in all, it was a fun day that celebrated the new partnership; the go-anywhere, real-life-ready pieces in the collection; and the Blink credo that every body is different and capable of raising their game to the fullest.
