What’s on my list of must-haves right now? Each month, I’ll share some of the things I’m really enjoying at the moment.
Kayaking: I recently tried kayaking while on vacation and was surprised with how much I like it and the workout you get from it. For those of you who want to get started, outdoor companies like REI offer everything from guidance and gear to introductory classes to adventure tours for those who are looking for a full kayaking experience.
The $100,000 Pyramid: The iconic TV show is amidst its third season with all new celebrities (Taye Diggs, Nick and Vanessa Lachey, Leslie Jones, and more) and lots of word-association fun. I was always a big fan of the original game show—where two celebrities and their partners race against the clock to make it to the winners’ circle for a chance to take home $10,000—so being able to host the reboot of this classic show has been an honor and more fun than I ever imagined.
Cafe Clover: I love brunch—it’s probably my favorite meal of the day. So it helps to have a restaurant at home in New York that’s healthy and delicious. This West Village spot (which is also open for lunch and dinner) is my brunch go-to with the family because it has all of my breakfast favorites, from avocado toast and overnight oats to poached farm eggs and pancakes to fresh-pressed juices and an awesome rosé sangria.
Rolling Papers II: I’ve got a new soundtrack for my daily workouts thanks to my friend Wiz Khalifa’s new album, Rolling Papers II. He’s collaborated with some great artists like Snoop Dogg, Swae Lee, and Ty Dolla $ign on the album—and every one of the 25 tracks is a banger!
