The 411: The 2018 Sport for Good Fashion Show

Now that I have my own fashion line, Collection by Michael Strahan, Fashion Week is permanently on my radar. So I jumped at the chance to co-host the 2018 Laureus Sport for Good Fashion Show alongside supermodel, philanthropist, and entrepreneur Karolina Kurkova. I had a blast watching some of sports’ most famous names—including Olympic gold-medal winners Missy Franklin and Nadia Comaneci, skateboarding icon Tony Hawk, and arguably the most decorated NFL running back ever, Marcus Allen—trade in their jerseys for high fashion, jewelry, and timepieces, and strut their stuff to raise crucial funds and awareness for the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation USA, which improves the lives of youth and unites communities through the power of sport. (You can check out my Sit Down interview with the amazing and inspirational Laureus C.E.O. Benita Fitzgerald Mosley from earlier this week.)

Following the show, guests sipped champagne and cocktails and enjoyed music by DJ Dee Wiz and Doug E. Fresh. I also had the chance to sit for world-renowned photographer Nigel Barker, who curated an exclusive photo collection to support the event.
